The RAM^® Tough-Tray^™ III Spring Loaded Laptop Tray (RAM-234-7) is a rugged,
highly adjustable vehicle and marine laptop mounting solution designed for secure use in mobile workstations, fleets, boats, and off-road environments.
This third-generation Tough-Tray^™ improves on earlier designs with a reduced footprint, enhanced adjustability, and simplified assembly.
The spring-loaded cradle expands from 10" to 15" wide, securely accommodating laptops up to 17 inches (measured diagonally).
Adjustable side supports fit laptops ranging from 0" to 1.875"(4,76cm) thick and include two interchangeable support lengths—long supports for rugged laptops, and shorter supports for slim devices.
Side supports adjust horizontally to avoid blocking ports and feature foam padding to protect devices from vibration and scuffs.
Swiveling rear supports accommodate laptop depths from 7.625"(19,37cm) to 10.625"(27cm), ensuring a secure and customized fit.
An integrated tubular cam lock provides added security by locking the laptop in place, making this tray ideal for professional and commercial applications.
The Tough-Tray^™ III also features a built-in recess for the RAM^® Adjustable Laptop Screen Support, allowing it to nest cleanly when not in use,
and is compatible with the RAM^® Power Caddy for convenient power management.
Integrated 2-hole AMPS mounting locations around the tray perimeter allow for easy attachment of accessories such as printers, handheld devices, or scanners.
